Hand protection

            Hand protection Info page

             European standards for protective gloves
             CE Category I
Low risk - e.g. working in the garden. Protective gloves in this category are largely insignificant for health and safety at the workplace.
             CE Category II
Medium risk - e.g. protection against cut injuries.
Protective gloves in this category satisfy the requirements for most workplaces. In addition to the CE mark, they must undergo a type
             test.
             CE Category III
High risk - e.g. particular chemical hazards. Protective gloves in this category are also subject to regular quality monitoring.
             Material
             Leather (CE II)
Breathable and highly resistant when used for assembly, fitting and metalworking. Hot objects can also be touched to a certain
             extent.
             Cotton (CE I + II)
Suitable for dry areas in which sensitivity and a tactile feel are required, e.g. apparatus construction, precision engineering, fine sheet
metal processing, precision work. Materials are protected from fingerprints. Better grip, cut and wear resistance thanks to special
             coating and fabric construction.
Natural latex (CE II + III)
Liquid- and air-tight, highly elastic and tear-resistant.
Resistant to cleaning solutions and solvents, acids and lyes. Avoid contact with oils and greases.
Synthetic materials (CE II + III)
For example, nitrile, neoprene or PVC, depending on individual requirements.
To protect against aggressive chemicals such as oils, greases, varnish, acids, lyes, paint, alcohol, solvents, etc.

The following EN tests are intended for protective gloves:

EN 420 General requirements EN 407 Thermal hazards
